Realitor Fees and the NEW “SEO Listing Experts” Fee Structure

Realitor Fees are all over the board especially in todays high tech internet world.  We have companies like eRealty who tried to start a low fee service and they met with staunch opposition from all the traditional Real Estate Agents and realtor associations that helped put them out of business.

Realitor Fees…. Redfin, Zillow, and Others changing the market place…

Then we have Redfin and Zip and many others all trying to create their own business models that rely heavily on the internet to help them grow their business models.  Well al that is great for business but we are just creating another middleman system similar to what has existed for the last 50 plus years.

CraigsList Seattle Flagging Is Becoming An Issue With Local Real Estate Agents

Well I don’t know about you but this Craigslist Seattle flagging is getting a little out of hand to say the least.  Did you know that there is actually software that is available to make flagging other peoples ads easier and more undetectable?  Well I was just as shocked to find that bit of information out as I’m sure you are now.

Of course they say its to make flagging spammers easier, but we all know that is not what it is for.  It is for competitors to flag each others ads to and I quote ” help nudge out the compettion a little”.  I found that on one of the sites that offers such a software option.  That is down right underhanded in my book and if people have to stoop to that level to get business then maybe they should consider doing something else for a living.  I know I would not want to do business with anyone who used those types of tactics to get my business.

Well as a person who is working with numerous Real Estate Agents to roll out a new program, one of them being my wife and a few others being close friends, we were shocked to find that the very ones doing the flagging of our ads were not in fact craigslist seattle buyers and sellers, but the very Real Estate Agents who are supposed to be highly ethical and moral in their dealings with the public when it comes to selling homes.  They actually have guidelines to makes sure they do not do blatant things, such as soliciting another agents listed properties and so on.

We have had our ads flagged again and again for this very reason.  ”THEY DO NOT WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT WE ARE OFFERING TO YOU!

They would have to work harder and for less money in their eyes.  Well we have no problem working hard for a fair compensation.

The Tacoma Real Estate Market has been pretty good although there have been many foreclosures in the area.  It is still a great time to purchase a home with prices being lower than they have been in years.  You can not even build a home for as cheap as you can get one in some areas.

As a former builder who has built many a new home in the Tacoma Real Estate area and has been in the upper end market while doing so, I can’t even believe how cheap homes have become.

I actually had a home that we had built that went back to auction s a foreclosure and it went for less than what it had cost me to build it 4 years prior.  At the high point that home was worth one point one million dollars!

It then sold at the court house steps for four hundred and forty thousand dollars, what a discount and those of the types of deals we are finding still in the market place right now with all the bank owned homes on the market.

You don’t even have to go to the court house steps to get a deal like that, all you have to do is get a realtor looking for you and you will be bound to find an awesome deal in the Tacoma real estate market right now.

The Tacoma Real Estate Market has always been a great investment market…

I actual tell all my friends to just go and find a home already built rather than to try and build something, because they can get a whole lot more home for the money than to try and build one and get in right away.

They just have to be carful to get a good inspector to make sure the home doesn’t have any mold, or other issues since a lot of the time they have been sitting vacant for some time. Especially in some parts of the Tacoma real estate market.

Now as for getting an even better deal in the Tacoma Real Estate area, they should use one of our full service agents to right up the deal since they will offer them up to 50% of the buyers agents commission back at closing, just for having them right up the deal.
